Riley is out of our imported mare Ghost, inseminated with fresh semen from our Stallion Eagles Fire Illusion. This is our first mating with this combination and we are delighted to see yet another quality foal out of Ghost, a correct compact foal with an adorable personality.

Certified negative by parentage for PSSM1 – Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy, HERDA – Hereditary Equine Regional Dermal Asthenia, GBED – Glycogen Branching Enzyme Deficiency, HYPP – Equine Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis Disease, MH – Malignant Hyperthermia, and Grey gene.

Confirmed Red (Chestnut/Sorrel) (ee Aa), heterozygous for the Leopard Print gene (LP/lp) without the pattern gene (patn1/patn1)  making him a Red Varnish Roan blanket, we expect him to change considerably.

He will be registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club, the Appaloosa Horse UK, the British Appaloosa Society & the Foundation Appaloosa Horse Registry.
