Renne is out of our homebred mare Redheart Pascalius inseminated with fresh semen from our Stallion DFR Patahas Redheart. This is our fourth home bred foal with this combination and we are certainly delighted to retain the second UK’s GAP 6 filly.
Certified negative by parentage for PSSM1 – Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy, HERDA – Hereditary Equine Regional Dermal Asthenia, GBED – Glycogen Branching Enzyme Deficiency, HYPP – Equine Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis Disease, MH – Malignant Hyperthermia, Grey gene and Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC).
She will be registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club, the Appaloosa Horse UK, the British Appaloosa Society and the Foundation Appaloosa Horse Registry.
Confirmed black (EE aa) filly, homozygous for the Leopard Print gene (LP/LP) with one copy of the pattern gene (PATN1/patn1) who has inherited her sire’s Cream Gene (CR/cr) making her a Smoky Black.
