Ruby is out of our homebred mare Rez, inseminated with fresh semen from our Stallion Eagles Fire Illusion. This is our first mating with this combination and we are delighted to see the result, definitely a future bloodline to follow on with, this foal is very correct, friendly and compact.

Certified negative by parentage for PSSM1 – Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy, HERDA – Hereditary Equine Regional Dermal Asthenia, GBED – Glycogen Branching Enzyme Deficiency, HYPP – Equine Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis Disease, MH – Malignant Hyperthermia, Grey gene, and Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC).

Confirmed Red (Chestnut/Sorrel) (ee Aa), heterozygous for the Leopard Print gene (LP/lp) without the pattern gene (patn1/patn1)  making her a Red Varnish Roan, we expect to see a dramatic change in coat pattern and colour.

She will be registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club, the Appaloosa Horse UK, the British Appaloosa Society & the Foundation Appaloosa Horse Registry.
