Rodeo is out of our purchased mare Indi, inseminated with fresh semen from our Stallion DFR Patahas Redheart. This is our first mating with this combination and we are delighted to see a healthy foal arrive, he’s is a correct big foal and we are absolutely delighted with him (a filly was to be retained by the Stud).

Certified negative by parentage for PSSM1 – Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy, HERDA – Hereditary Equine Regional Dermal Asthenia, GBED – Glycogen Branching Enzyme Deficiency, HYPP – Equine Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis Disease, MH – Malignant Hyperthermia, Grey gene, and Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC).

Confirmed heterozygous black with one copy of the red gene (Ee aa) with one copy of the cream gene (CR/cr) making him a smoky black few spot. Homozygous for the Leopard Print gene (LP/LP) and heterozygous Pattern  (PATN1/patn1).

Registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club, the Appaloosa Horse UK & the British Appaloosa Society.
