Redheart Reassurance AKA Riley and Redheart Radiant AKA Ruby are our first-born foals to be confirmed chestnut Varnish Roan.
Both are tested and certified with the same genetics – e/e A/a, heterozygous for the Leopard Print gene (LP/lp) without the pattern gene (patn1/patn1) we can not wait to see their coat patterns change.

Redheart Radiant – Red Varnish Roan Filly (e/e A/a LP/lp patn1/patn1).
Redheart Reassurance – Red Varnish Roan Colt (e/e A/a LP/lp patn1/patn1).
Redheart Rhetorical – Leopard Buckskin (E/e A/A CR/cr LP/lp PATN1/patn1).
Despite their due dates, The Class of 2025 arrived within a few days of each other.
Our three maiden mares did well delivering although a little assistance was required with Rodeo being such a big colt.
With our herd leader “Catori” out of the picture this year, Ru and Evee have been fighting for the position and Indy has lacked social skills when it came to introducing all the mares with their foals in one paddock.
They all spent time bonding with their foals initially but it took a long time to safely introduce them to each other. Eventually, within a safe environment we achieved harmony and we can now enjoy watching the mares release their apron strings as the five foals begin to interact with each other.
